The way cancer disease is spreading, it seems by 2050 every family will have one cancer patient. Nearly 50,000 patients come to Mumbai every year for treatment. Presently we have the infrastructure to accommodate 25 cancer patients. Every day at least 5 new cancer patients are visiting our home for accommodation. Unfortunately we have to refuse due to shortage of resources and space. Thus the Trust has decided to increase the number of rooms by extending one floor. Building Plans have already been put up at Building Proposal Department. The Trust needs funds to complete this mission.

The right to live. Unfortunately many children in India, afflicted with the deadly disease of cancer do not even have this basic right. These children are killed even before their life begins. Every day innumerable number of young and adult cancer patients succumbs to cancer disease that is very much preventable, if action is taken on time.

With great difficulty, the poor cancer patients who have taken shelter at our home travel a distance for treatment by public transport to Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital, Parel, Mumbai and various cancer hospitals. We are in dire need of one 22 seated bus for safe and comfortable journey for the cancer patients and their attendants.

When a Doctor says the word Cancer, the patients and their family’s world turns upside down. Cancer treatment is most expensive treatment. The poor cancer patients residing in our home managed by our Trust needs financial support not just to live for them but to live for their families.

While you would be having number of jobs on your list, there is one job that would make your day and your life even more meaningful. We thus request you to help us achieve our goal by donating a sum which will help us to buy a 22 seated bus and also enable us to provide funds for treatment and also add more rooms, which will bring smiles on the faces of the needy cancer patients.
